Copying from one drawing to another - cshort - 06-16-2014
IS there a way to select material from one drawing and "paste" it into another drawing? I do retail store designs and often need to copy some fixture layouts from one design to another. Can not find a way to do that so I end up re-drawing standard fixtures over and over.

you can select and copy anything from one drawing then switch to your working drawing and paste. Better to create a symbol file of those items that you know you will use repeatedly though. That way you will only have to insert them from your symbol directory.
